“A memoir of fleeting echoes” is an introspective exploration of the relationship between individuals and their belongings, particularly in the context of constant movement and transnational living. The work delves into the notion of home and how it is perceived and experienced by those who frequently relocate. It seeks to understand how comfort is found in the unfamiliar, coming to terms with the objects and places left behind. The title suggests nuances of the reflection on the transient nature of our experiences and the echoes of past homes lingering in our memories.
This work has been exhibited in 2024 at “Everything in between” open studio exhibition @ B1-10A McNally Campus, LASALLE College of the Arts.
